There are so many sinful pleasures at Christmas time & this is one of them. We make these sweets every year & they taste so GOOD. I don’t know if there is an english word for them, but in danish they are called “Havregrynskugler” & if you translate it directly they are called “oatmeal balls”!
It is always so cosy making them & I have a tendency to eat a lot of them while making them. I think the reason why they taste so good is that I only eat them at Christmas & that makes them a bit more special.
The main ingredients in them are Oatmeal & Cacao & here is the recipe; for about 30 pieces
- 125 g Oatmeal made into flour
- 50 g Butter ( soft)
- 75 g Icing Sugar
- 4 teaspones Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 dl. Milk
You just need to mix it all together to a dough & then form small balls of it & then roll them in coconut flour & then they are ready to be eaten!
Sorry for the very late post, but have had a very busy day & tomorrow I’m going to Hamburg.
Have a lovely Friday evening.
