London Diaries Day 3

So we started day 3 by going to Portobello Road Marked, it wasn’t far from where we lived. We got there around 11 o’clock & there were already a tons of people. I think I’ve been to Portobello Road Marked before, but I can’t remember.

I must admit I were a bit disappointed, it wasn’t what I thought it would be & because there were so many people, it was hard to go around & the stuff was a bit expensive, so we just strolled down the street & saw a little bit, but bought nothing!

After Portobello Road we went to Hammersmith, as I wrote in my previous post we knew that there was a Primark in Hammersmith, so we wanted to go to that on. It was so much easier to go around in Primark in Hammersmith than in the one on Oxford Street. I’m not sure what I think about Primark, I think my expectations were a bit to high, but I did find some very nice rings & they were very cheap too. After I got home I figured out that the Primark stores can be different & have different things, so I guess you need to go try some different ones to find someone you like! I’m going to do that next time I’m in London.

When we were done with shopping in Primark, we wanted to get some lunch, we found a place called Byron & got some burgers. They were really good & a place I also want to go back to!

You must think that after shopping the past two days in London, that we were done, but guess again;) After lunch we went to Westfield for the third time, because there were still some stores we wanted to go to, some of them were Lush & New Look. In New look they had the most amazing hangers in their dressing room, I really want them in my clothes. I didn’t find anything in New Look in Westfield, but I did the day before, in New Look at Oxford Street.

I have recently discovered Lush & have bought some products that I really liked, so I had to go into one of their stores.
The store was so lovely, I were ones again (as I have been a lot of times on this trip) in shopping heaven or lets say Lush heaven! I went absolutely nuts & bought so many products, not all for me, I also promised my neighbor to buy some products for her, but I still bought a lot for myself, that way we both saved shippings. Gonna make a Lush Haul later on, then you can see what I bought.
A product that I’m completely in love with, is their bath bathbombs & I had to buy some, even through I don’t have a bathtub, stupid I know but I had to & they weren’t that expensive.
What are you guys favorite product from Lush?

I wrote in my previous post that we had big party plans for Saturday night & guess what day 3 in London was Saturday, so after we shopped, we went back to the hotel to get ready & then go out for dinner & then  party. We wanted to go to Soho & also find somewhere to eat in Soho. It was really hard to find a place to eat in Soho, but we found an Italian restaurant close to Piccadilly Circus, where it was possible to get a table right away.
After dinner we wanted to find somewhere to get a drink, but there were a lot of people everywhere, so we walked around for a little bit & saw some of Soho.

When we had walked around for a bit & couldn’t find a place to get a drink, we surprisingly ended up at Kingly Court again, where we found a place to get a drink & our drinks were on fire…..
The drink was vodka, orange juice & passionfruit, it tasted SOO good.

It was at a resturat we got the drinks, so afterwards we wanted to find a bar & there was one at Kingly Court, I can’t remember what it was called, but it was very cosy. We got there a bit late & I have now learned that people in London don’t go out like people in Denmark, the bar closed at 12 o’clock, in Denmark a bar or a club don’t closes until 4 or 5 in the morning. So we left when we were kicked out;)
At the bar we talked to two girls that sat at our table, they both lived in London, but were from Spain.  After the bar closed, they also wanted to go to a club & they knew one, so went with them. The club was at Leicester Square, when we got there it was like 5 or 10 pounds to get into the club. We didn’t really want to pay to get in, because we didn’t know how the club was,  but then something funny happened, the doorman asked us if we wanted to get in for free, no catch. We thought why not it was free, so we got in for free & skipped the queue. I can’t remember what the club was called. The two spanish girls stayed a short time, then it was just me & my friend. We had such a good time & danced the whole night, the club was very nice & played some very good mainstream music.
At 3 o’clock the club closed, again in Denmark a club closes at 5 or 6 o’clock, so you can say we left every time we were kicked out;)
We had to check out at our hotel & leave London the next morning, so at 3 o’clock it was time to get back to the hotel & get some hours of sleep. We got to bed at around 4 o’clock.

It was such an amazing day & a really good evening & night – worth loosing sleep for……
